Karen Mercer Interiors is a family owned business that started in 1987.

Karen originally began her business by merchandizing model homes for an entry level builder that developed subdivisions all over the state of Indiana. While working with him for over 13 years her business grew to include a retail store on the Southside of Indianapolis. Many customers would inquire about their unique furniture and accessories that were found in the models, so a retail store seemed the “right fit” for them to grow.

While we no longer merchandize model homes, we have stayed involved with residential design and try to stay current on the latest colors, styles and trends.

Our resume also includes many commercial office projects as well as participating in Home-A-Rama’s throughout the years.

Our desire is to provide a one on one collaboration between designer and homeowner. We can assist you with colors, fabrics, accessories and furnishings to define your space. We want to create a home that reflects you; a warm, elegant and accessible home.
